This is a special one day format for the BACKtoGOLF Seminar. The golf swing will be viewed from a biomechanical perspective, looking at how postural compensations influence the golf swing. The mechanics of the spine and extremities will be analyzed in the context of the golf swing. Video of the golf swing and the dysfunctional compensations in different age groups, both men and women, will be analyzed. The lab will include a tournament protocol for stretching and joint mobilizationsequence for golfers, correction of common spinal dysfunctions that golfers demonstrate. Marketing and interaction with golf teaching professionals will be discussed. Post- operative rotator cuff repair, total knee and hip management for golfers will be reviewed. There will be a 2 hour follow-up webinar for further swing analysis and advanced exercise prescription, by arrangement with the class.
